Extremely rare piece of pro hockey history. These are vintage CCM professional-stock all-leather hockey gloves custom made for the Houston Aeros during their historic run in the World Hockey Association (WHA).
Features the iconic original WHA-era Aeros blue, green, and white team colorway with the authentic "Aeros" team identifier stamping on the cuffs.
PROVENANCE / HISTORY:
These gloves came directly from my uncle, who was the longtime head athletic trainer for the Houston Aeros throughout their dominant 1990s championship runs in the IHL.
CONDITION:
Genuine vintage, game-used condition. The leather exterior shows beautiful, authentic character and player wear. The white protective padding rolls show some typical heavy surface scuffing/wear as pictured. Great structure, perfect as a rare sports memorabilia display piece or a historical collection focal point.
